We had to replace an aging concrete deck in our outdoor garden event venue within a specific time frame. Chad and his crew were professionals from start to finish. From planning, demolition, and installation of the new deck…the project was completed on time and the results far exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended.

Working with Chad, Liana, and extended Hilweh crew was incredibly awesome. Professional from start to finish! There were obstacles in the remodel journey, but each challenge was met with positivity and an eagerness to overcome. The team embodied the clich'e "there are no problems, only solutions"! This is an awesome local company. I’m glad I supported a local company because Chad and his wife is an outstanding couple to do business with. They are both compassionate, respectful, dependable, and have great communication. Chad hires local people for his company and they do outstanding work. They both give back to their community so when you support their business you know the monies are going to support the local community.

Working with Hilweh Builders was the easiest experience I've ever had with a contractor. Chad is very personable and easy to collaborate with. He asked all the right questions to understand my vision and went above and beyond to ensure I was informed of every step of the project. I'll actually miss coming home from work and seeing another part of the project come together. Chad was often there to update me on the progress, which often ended with talking story about all kinds of things. It you don't want a headache finding and dealing with a contractor, choose Hilweh Builders! I look forward to working with them again in the future.

Chads professionalism and his craftsmanship are second to none. He is such a pleasure to work with. The thing thats great about Chad is he cares about your project coming out as perfect as you do. He is passionate about the details and knowledgeable on how to make it happen. Hilweh Builders built a new lanai cover. We worked together on the design, Chad had great feedback which I had not thought of. He pre-planned the design for the lighting that was to be added last and always checked in to make sure I was happy with the progression, final product and was I. Chad also did a custom shower wall which he cut precisely to line up with the siding. He hand selected the Sapele and it came our perfect. He coordinated with other contractors involved and everything went off without a hitch. Hilweh Builders is impressive for many reasons but everything they said they would do, they did and to perfection. If you’re reading this and are considering Chad for your upcoming project, you will be extremely happy with the outcome and entire process from start to finish.

Chad, Liana and the Hilweh Builders team are professional. Great communicators, and get a job well done in a timely manner. Our jobs with them have been smaller by comparison but they still treated the work with the same respect you would see in large project. The team is courteous, conscientious, and neat! Great company. If I could give Hilweh Builders 10 stars I would! I highly recommend them. Chad and his crew (Tama) did such a beautiful job transforming an older home with a very small bathroom with a tub to an ADA shower and toilet to accommodate the needs of my aging parents. The vanity area now allows easy wheelchair access. The non-slip tile and wood flooring throughout made the space more functional. It was a pleasure working with Chad from start to finish. Professional, courteous, and kept us informed at all times on our project. He went above and beyond what was expected, Most of all, they finished on time and within budget! My parents are very happy!

Chad and his team were incredible to work with! We received frequent updates, via text and phone, throughout the process, and always knew exactly what was happening and what changes needed to be made, if any. The staff were friendly and professional, and made the time to answer any questions that we had. In the end, we have a beautiful new shower and brand new flooring. I cannot speak highly enough of the high quality work produced by Hilweh Builders and would recommend them above any other contractors that we’ve ever worked with in Hawaii!

My Dad broke his hip and we needed to make some adjustments to our home to make it comfortable for him. I searched specifically for a contractor that had "aging in place" listed in their services. Chad had very good reviews and so I took a chance, and I'm so glad I did! From start to finish, communication was thorough and professional, even on a Sunday. I am so impressed with Chad's kindness and understanding of the urgency of our needs. He even found grab bars that didn't look like grab bars and matched my parents current fixtures. I felt very safe having him work in my elderly parents home and he even sent a picture of himself prior to the first meeting so we would know who to expect - such a nice touch and so reassuring. As my parents want to stay in their home as long as possible, we will certainly need Chad's services again and I feel lucky to have found him. His 5 star reviews are well deserved. Thank you so much!
